Important Information for Virginia EMS Providers
Completion of continuing education (CE) through FlightBridgeED does not automatically apply CE hours to your Virginia EMS certification record at this time.
If you complete CE through FlightBridgeED, you must submit your course completion certificates to a Virginia-certified Education Coordinator (EC) for review and possible award of Virginia CE hours. Please do not submit these hours directly to OEMS, as OEMS does not have the ability to award CE hours directly.
Virginia-certified Education Coordinators are permitted, but not required, to review third-party CE certificates that do not directly report CE hours to OEMS. Submission of a certificate does not guarantee that CE hours will be awarded.
