Task Forces are the resources sent to localities to help them meet their EMS needs during a disaster. A task force includes:
- Two ALS equipped ambulances
- Crash/Rescue Truck
- 2-15 EMS providers led by a trained Task Force Commander
Task Forces are organized on a regional or agency basis from volunteer, governmental, and/or commercial agencies.
Training programs, standard operating procedures, and organizational checklists are available to help you establish a Task Force.
