Examples of OEMS Data in Use

Even though data from the EMS and Trauma Registries is exempt from the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), the VDH/OEMS, at its sole discretion, does make this information available.  We recommend submitting your request as much in advance as possible as we must prioritize data projects.  Our priorities are to support our mandated programs, our agency, and those that contribute to the databases.  The registries are intended for performance improvement of patient care and system issues.
