The Office of EMS will be planning a face-to-face meetings of Training & Certification Committee (January 6, 2021) and the Medical Direction Committee (January 7, 2021) at 10:30 a.m. The meeting will be held at the Embassy Suites Hotel, 2925 Emerywood Parkway, Richmond, Virginia 23294. This is the same hotel where we have been holding our State EMS Advisory Board, Executive Committee and Standing Committee meetings over the past couple of years.
We will hold the Medical Direction Committee meeting in Wilson A & B rooms, which is the large banquet room where we hold the full EMS Advisory Board meeting. The Embassy Suites will be following all CDC and state guidelines for social distancing, disinfection, wearing of face masks, etc.
For our meeting, the room will be set classroom style with one person per table for no more than 25 total—each table will have a microphone similar to the set-up used at the EMS Advisory Board meeting. This total includes all Committee members and OEMS Division Managers.
NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
Due to the need for social distancing under Executive Orders 63 and 67, the general public will not be allowed to attend this meeting in person. The meeting will be broadcast via a live synchronous webinar with a timed public comment period. We may also be able to have a satellite room in the hotel for the public. Details about how to access this will be provided as we get closer to the meeting.
